AS A RESULT OF THE ESCALATING CRISIS IN ISRAEL, the Greater Miami Jewish community is joining all of American Jewry in launching an Israel Emergency Fund. Many people remember the 1973 Yom Kippur war, when Israel's survival was at stake and some believe the situation today maybe even more drastic. In addition to more than 14,000 terrorist attacks in the past year and a half on the small nation and hundreds of injured and killed, Israel is also facing increasing geo-political isolation.

This Israel Emergency Fund will help to assist terror victims and those Israelis who are most vulnerable during this difficult time, as well as send a clear, unmistakable message that our leadership and our community stands in complete solidarity with the people of Israel.
