Community to Hold Tribute to Victims of 1994 AMIA Blast

More than 100 members of Miamis Jewish community traveled to Israel to celebrate Israels 60th birthday. The Israel 60 Mission included volunteering in Yerucham and Pardes Channa-Karkur, Federation partnership cities.
Federation Installs New Officers
William Lehman, Jr. was elected recently as the Federations new Chair of the Board. The elections were conducted at the Annual Meeting of the Federation. Barbara Black Goldfarb was named Federations new General Campaign Chair.
Federation Collecting Donations to Help Victims of Central U.S. Disasters
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has joined a national effort to provide immediate, nonsectarian aid to the victims of recent natural disasters in the central U.S. All funds will be distributed through United Jewish Communities.
Federation Honors Outstanding Staff at Year-End Luncheon

JCRC, ADL Host Security Conference
Responding to the security concerns of local Jewish institutions, the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Anti-Defamation League held their annual Security Awareness Conference. More than 21 local Jewish organizations and agencies participated.
